Schloss Albrechtsberg Castle was created over four years, starting in 1850, under the direction of architect Adolf Loze in the style of Prussian classicism. However, there is a style of Roman villas of the Renaissance. The castle owes its birth to Prince Albrecht of Prussia. After all, it was built for him.

The castle is a mixture of Medici villas, Tuscan manors of the Renaissance and Prussian classicism. The park, broken up at the castle since 1930, is in the public domain. The slope of Elba is strengthened by terraces.

The first large platform is a beautiful fountain, which is surrounded by columns. For his decorative decoration he was nicknamed the Roman bath.

The castle itself is simply luxurious. Once on the ground floor, you will see the lobby, which opens onto the front yard. The lobby is made in a simple classic style. The windows of the Garden Hall, which is painted with views of those places that the prince especially liked, look at the terrace.

Just a fabulous sight for you will be the Moorish bath, which was created under the impression of the Alhambra Palace in Grenada.

In 1925, Albrechtsberg Castle was acquired by the city. Since 1937, it was used as a barracks and stables, served as a refuge during the bombing for children from orphanages, after the war, soldiers of the Red Army lodged here, then there was the Intourist Hotel and the Palace of Pioneers.

Today, the festive hall and lounges of the castle are used for cultural events, congresses and weddings.
